Hello, I'm Kokoyu

Hi! I'm Kokoyu 🧪

I spend most of my time playing with AI anime art tools — NovelAI, Niji, PixAI, open models in ComfyUI, and whatever comes out next week. This blog is where I'll write up what I try: what worked, what didn't, and the exact prompts and settings, so you can try it too.

A few things I've already learned the hard way:

Style words don't do much on their own. The model, the reference image and a few real tags matter far more than "soft painterly shading".
Tag models only know tags that exist. If a tag isn't on Danbooru, the model mostly ignores it.
One tag can change a lot. mature female doesn't mean "adult" — it pulls toward a much older look.

Next up: how this character came together across five tools, round by round.

See you around — on X I'm @kokoyu_ai.
